This gallery features three species of seals: pacific harbor seals (Phoca vitulina) (also known as common seals), northern elephant seals (Mirounga angustirostris), and northern fur seals (Callorhinus ursinus). The first two species were photographed in California, while the latter was photographed on St. Paul Island in Alaska.
